We run a star-shaped cider orchard in the heart of West Dorset creating award-winning ciders that we sell from our farm shop and licensed cafe.
We have four luxurious shepherd huts within the orchard each creating a private getaway to relax and unwind in.
We keep rare breed Berkshire pigs, Portland sheep, and ducks, the produce of which can be found in our farm shop and on our seasonal menu.
We run multiple small enterprises to a very high standard, ensuring all of our guests receive a unique and memorable visit.

We had a fantastic time the Star Gazer. The hut was cozy, well equipped, and also a total sun trap on the deck, which was a pleasant surprise. Lovely cider, plus chops and sausage sourced from the farm on the barby for our last night too.
Hosts were very friendly and responsive. It was great to meet them and they were quick to sort us out with whatever we needed.
All in all, for us it was the perfect getaway! Thank you so much and we will certainly be back!

Beautiful location, quiet, peaceful - enchanting. Lovely comfortable clean fabulous shepherd's hut, dog friendly which was important for us. Can't recommend enough

Beautiful few days completely switching off. The hut was perfectly stocked with everything we needed, spotlessly clean with the most amazing views. Dan and Katherine were incredibly helpful and friendly. Friday evening bbq was gorgeous in the orchard (will have to come back for a Saturday pizza night). A couple of things to note:
Ring ahead of going to the Fox and Hounds pub as apparently, they are quite laid back with their opening times.
Bring an eye mask, roof light is gorgeous for stargazing but did mean an early start in midsummer.
Caution, you may leave with a completely unexpected (but completely gorgeous) new puppy playmate

Amazing stay in star gazer hut. Was exactly as described, had everything you would need for a relaxing get away. very peaceful in the orchard especially in the evening watching the sheep graze whilst drinking the Dorset star cider. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The cider and meat produced on the orchard was top quality. Easy drives to a number of beaches and walking areas. Would recommend this stay to everyone and will definitely be back.

Had an amazing experience, the hosts were great easily contactable and helped us with anything we needed. We went in May so the tree blossom was in full bloom and the view from the hot tub was one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen. Great meeting the farm wildlife too (ducks, pigs, dogs, sheep, puppies!). Would definitely recommend again. Sitting in the hot tub watching the stars was an unforgettable memory.
